The deeper detail behind the plans on our home page: what the agencies’ words actually mean, how the graduation promise works, how a build runs, and the straight answers — in print, before you sign.
Web firms dress plain work in expensive words, then charge for the words. Here is their vocabulary, translated into plain English — and where the same work already sits inside the plans on our home page.
| What they call it | What it actually is | At Three Halos |
|---|---|---|
| “GEO-optimized structure” | Pages with real titles, real headings, and clear words, so Google — and the AI chatbots — can read them. | ✓Included in every plan |
| “High-availability CDN hosting” | Your site lives on a worldwide network of servers, so it loads fast and stays up. We host on Cloudflare — the same network the agencies name-drop. | ✓Included in every plan |
| “Core Web Vitals passing” | Google’s speed test, passed. Hand-built pages pass it because there is no page-builder weight to fail with. | ✓Included in every plan |
| Custom website — never a template | A site designed for your business and nobody else’s, not a theme with your name pasted in. | ✓Every build starts blank |
| Copywriting included | Every word researched and written for you — your story, your services, your menu — before you ever see the demo. | ✓Included in every plan |
| Design revisions | Your changes, made before the site launches. | ✓One full feedback round — every item on your list |
| Business email | A mailbox at your own domain, so customers write to you — not to a free Gmail address. | ✓First mailbox free · aliases free |
| Care / management plan | Hosting, security, upkeep, and changes, handled every month so you never touch the site. One Upstate studio charges nearly $200 a month for this exact list. | ✓The same contents: our $39.99–$59.99 monthly |
Every row is a line item from a competitor’s published price card, checked November 5, 2026. If a service isn’t in this table, we don’t claim it — ask us what’s not included and we’ll tell you plainly.
Start on Broad Street. The year your roots in the South Carolina community your business calls home cross ten years, your monthly drops to the King Street rate — from the next bill, for good. Every cable company and agency in America raises your rate for staying. Ours falls. When you sign, we’ll tell you the exact date you qualify — a horizon worth staying for.
Broad Street, today. Stay rooted in your community — at ten years, the monthly drops.
A working demo of your website — your name, your photos, your menu — built on our dime before you owe us a cent. If it doesn’t impress you, we’ve lost nothing but time, and it was our time to lose.
Say yes, put down the 20% deposit, and the real build goes up on your own domain. Within a week, send us one list of everything you want changed. We make every change on it — then it launches.
Hosting, upkeep, and your monthly changes are in the rate. Want online ordering later? We’ll wire up Square or Toast — your register stays yours. If your website breaks, that’s on us. If a big company’s service hiccups, that’s on them — and we’ll help you reach them.
One more thing about how we build: real pages, not one endless scroll. Your customers get a home page, a services page, an about page, a contact page — each one its own page, so people find what they need in one click instead of scrolling forever. This site is built the same way.
Typical timing, stated plainly — not a guarantee dressed up as one. The 7-day feedback window is in the contract. The rest is how the work usually runs.
The 20% deposit — $150 on Broad Street, $100 on King Street. It starts the real build on your own domain, and it is non-refundable, because it pays for the build. The balance is not due until launch.
One change is one item: one price, one photo, one block of text, one menu edit. Five a month are included in your rate. Extras are $5 each, and we confirm the count with you before we bill anything. Our mistakes never count — fixing our error is always free.
You do. Your domain is registered in your business’s name from day one — never in ours. It is your name on the internet. We just build on it.
Your first year is a 12-month term. After that, you are month-to-month — no hostage renewals, no surprise lock-in. Give us 60 days’ notice with your account paid up, and your site files go with you; if that notice runs past month twelve, you simply stay month-to-month until the handover. Stop paying without notice and the site pauses; the files are held, and destroyed after 60 days of non-payment. Plain terms, in print, before you sign.
A contracting officer with a requirement, or a local owner whose customers are looking them up tonight — either way, you’ll talk to Adam, not a call center.
